Newsletter Article Submission Guidelines

Any game related articles will be considered for inclusion in the newsletter.  We are looking for Game Reviews, Game Variants, Strategy Guides, Print and Play Games, Session Reports, Editorial Content, and Pictorial Essays; in fact, just about anything that you can think of!

The deadline for submission is the 24^th of each month.  The Newsletter will be published by the 7^th of the following month.  Articles will be published as soon as possible within the newsletter, but based on content backlog and publishing needs, your article might not be published for a few months.

Article Guidelines

• As a rule of thumb, most articles should be one to four pages in length.  Generally there are about 500 words per page in a formatted document.  This provides enough room for images and other layout considerations.
• White space in an article is permissible as it allows opportunities for additional articles or information to be added to page.
• Please use TABS and Tables to format your document!  Using spaces (i.e. hitting space 20 times in front of a row to indent text) is hard to edit and makes layout work very difficult!
• The standards below are suggested, but may be changed within an individual article to support content layout within the newsletter.
• The title of the article and your name should be included within the document.

Pre-formatted Document Standards

Pre-formatted documents are usually produced within a word processing package (Microsoft Office or Open Office) and include layout details of the document.  If possible, please submit documents in this format; this allows you some control over the layout of the document within the newsletter, but the editor(s) reserve the right to modify the layout as required for overall newsletter layout considerations.

Unformatted Document Standards

If you cannot submit a document in the above format please submit using the following guidelines.  Articles submitted using this method will be formatted following the above guidelines by the editor(s).
