Beyond Monopoly:Gaming 101 has started up again for this year. This is a program that FRAG has offered for the last few years. If you haven't read about the program, check out the information here.
I was looking around the internet for another podcast that I had seen previously, when I came across this wonderful series from Scott Nicholson of "Boardgames with Scott" fame. He has created a complete course, broken up in short you tube videos describing building a gaming program within a library setting. He covers topics from "What is a Game?", to the history of games, and even specific examples of different game types. Scott has also done some great work putting together a list of "bait" games that can be used as good introductory games for the board gaming hobby. These are great resources that our community can benefit from.
If you have any interest in supporting this sort of community event, please take some time to watch some of these videos, and contact the board (

For even further information, check out the American Library Association's Librarian's Guide to Gaming. It is a resource for librarians that are looking to set up a game program within their community.

We have implemented a comment system on man page articles. This was suggested by a user as a quick way for members to provide feedback on articles or the information posted on the website, without having to create forum posts. Please test this out, and see how it works.
