So what did Santa bring you ?
Post So what did Santa bring you ?

Ho-ho-ho!
Well, the holiday season is over.
I hope gamers out there got several games this year.
I was very pleased to receive, "At the Gates of Loyang" and "Opera" for Xmas although I can't say I was surprised. You see, for the last several years my wife has decided that I should buy the games I want, give them to her to wrap, and then she puts them under the tree for me. Hey, it works for me!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I'm just curious what games other people got this year.
Anything unusual?
Anything rare?
Anything currently hot?
Take a minute and give a shout back.
Thanks.

James,
All I got for Christmas was some slippers and a bath robe. I don't think they will be coming out with expansions for them in the future as far as I can see. They are awesome though.
Ciao,
Neal

James,

I got to buy myself World Without End, Agricola: Farmers of the Moor, and CarDcassonne. Endeavor is on its way from my in-laws.

I also got Left 4 Dead 2 for my computer.

And lots more good stuff that had nothing to do with games or gaming.

Cheers,

Stu

I went nuts buying games at BGG.CON so there was not much left for the family to buy me at Christmas. Very Happy

We did play lots of games over the holiday season though.
Railways of the World
Alhambra (Big Box)
Empire Builder
HeroScape
Zertz
Dungeon Twister
CODA
Code 7
Citadels
Incan Gold
Acquire
Mexican Train Dominoes
Blue Moon City
Milles Borne

It is so enjoyable to gather with friends and family over the holidays to play games.

Cheers & Happy Gaming in 2010,
Matt

I had a few hard to get games on my list, Gates of Loyanng, World without End, and some mini-poker chips. Because of the scarcity of those, I got universal gift certificates instead!

I did get Left 4 Dead 2 for PC, and the God of war Pack for the PS3.

Like James, I made a purchase for myself though:
Gates of Loyanng
World without End
Dungeon Twister 2
Megacorps
Where's Bob's Hat?

I also purchased Vasco de Gama for myself, and got a few plays of it and others in over the holiday season.

Cheers!

If you find a source, I bet Guy would be interested in some, (in case you were putting together a bulk order).

Heck, I might be interested. Very Happy

Games I got:

Blind Crib (designed by by brother-in-law's uncle)
Rise of Empires (next Games Day?)
Bombay (which was played the last time I was at the German Club)
Alea Iacta Est (only tried with 3... needs a full table of 5)
Atlantis (new to BSW... I had to buy)
Chicago Express expansion
Alea Treasure box (lots of new variants for Puerto Rico, San Juan, Notre Dame, In the Year of the Dragon, Witches Brew, and Louis XIV... so they'll all be in my Games Day box)
