Warhammer Fantasy

I was just wondering how many people out there play Warhammer Fantasy, and if/where I might play. I used to play back when we had a Games Workshop, but I kind of fell away from it for awhile. I would like to get back in to it. Could anyone tell me if they still run Warhammer games/tournaments at the monthly games days? Is there anywhere else that runs regular games? I heard Tramps does, but I'm not sure when they do. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The Flatland Fantasy VI convention is coming up next week (April 23 - 25). There is a Warhammer Fantasy event running at the convention. See the convention page for more information: http://www.reginagamers.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=43&Itemid=8.

Although there was a Thursday night league that was running at the German Club that has been less frequent. A few players still meet infrequently to play there though. There is not a regularly schedule Warhammer event at the Games Days. Maybe you could start one?

Tramps does still run events but the specific dates are not published. Check the Prairie Gamer for contact information so you can contact them directly.

Unfortunately, I cannot attend the Flatland convention.

Does anyone know a contact person for the Thursday night leagues? Is there any sort of contact list I could get on? Thanks alot.

i would just suggest showing up at the german club thursday nights with an army and army list. the group i play with does games anywhere between 850 - 2500 or more points. we also play mordhiem on a somewhat regular basis. is we arent at the german club, check out the serbian club as alternate location. (mainly if there is a function or something at the GC). otherwise games usually start around 7-7:30 pm.

warhammer League !!!

Hello, We are going to get a warhammer 7th/8th edition transition league going. We will be using the Frag forums to coordinate the league; setting up the rules, signing up, organizing games and reporting win/loss.
I hope that we can start in July and slowly transition in the new rules. So we would occasionally add in the new magic, or combat or psychology rules so that by the time the fall rolls around we'd all be ready for an 8th edition league.
