Princess of Monaco
The Phoenix Agenda
The year is 2050, and it is an age of technological marvels, but also of social breakdown. Nations, corporate superpowers terrorists and radicals are locked in conflicts of espionage and covert war. And under all of this, two conspiracies are locked in a battle over the fate of the greatest resource of all: the future.
Princess of Monaco
Monaco is where Europe's glitterati go to play, to be seen, and to negotiate backroom deals. With things heating up between the EU, the UISR and the IIE, the time is ripe for some "unofficial negotiations". Maybe that's why so many covert operators, renegades and criminals have found their way to the Casino Princessa tonight.
Princess of Monaco is a live-action scenario being run at FRAGCon this year (Saturday afternoon), using the Exemplar rules. Players will have their choice of premade characters listed below on a first-come, first-serve basis. Characters will be added as character slots fill up.
All character concepts are gender-neutral, listed as male for the sake of convenience. Character genders can be changed without difficulty. Certain character names have been hidden behind code-names, to preserve the uncertainty at game-time. ;)

Characters - Diplomats
European Union
Helmut von Telsig: The German ambassador is well known in Monaco. In fact, he seems to know everyone - and something interesting about everyone.
Boli van der Wahl: As Hatari Security's district manager, Mr. van der Wahl is responsible for (among other things) all EU consulate security. In such a sensitive position, everyone is glad that his reputation is for discretion and low-key effectiveness.
Rhona Bareuil: The assistant Belgian trade consul, Bareuil is better known by the party crowd of Monaco than in diplomatic circles. (Taken)
Russian Bloc
Sergei Karov: Industrial baron, ruthless mobster and Russian consul, Sergei Karovich wears many hats, but he is not a man to be trifled with in any of them.
Mikhail Zalski: The hammer that Karov wields, Zalski keeps his own ambitions quiet...
Middle-Eastern Bloc
Prince Hassan: This scion of the Saudi royal family is both devout and conservative, and thus stands out as ambassador to Europe's playground.
Bahar Mustafa: The Egyptian ambassador is a notorious playboy. Beware underestimating him, however - endless hours playing poker do tend to give one a keen eye. (Taken)

Andre Mignu: The Princessa's chief of security is known for his loyalty to the casino - and his willingness to do business with the highest bidder on all other matters.
Joseph Orleac: Joseph was chosen from among the Princessa's dealers to deal for the tournament. This makes him a very popular man, to some. (Taken)
The Man With The Plan: This well-connected con man has a plan to take the Casino Princessa for everything they've got.

Characters - Shadow War
The Phoenix Agenda
GRANDMASTER: Head of the Monaco cell, he approaches the complex whirl of Monaco as a game of chess, and prides himself on always being 10 steps ahead of the game.
BLACK BISHOP: Grandmaster's forward man, 'Bish' is a master of disguise, infiltration...and baccarat.
The Elect
SPIDER: One of three field controls for Monaco, SPIDER is a spymaster extraordinaire. He has recruited assets in all walks of life in Monaco. (Taken)
TIDAL: While SPIDER works through proxies (and proxies of proxies), sometimes a situation is too sensitive to be handled by anyone except one of the Elect. TIDAL handles those operations in Monaco.
The Renegade
X: A genius who has been a part of the Shadow War since the beginning, the man known as X has broken away from both the Elect and the Agenda. He is on a one-man crusade to destabilize history, and end the tyranny of predictive analysis forever. (Taken)
