Just wondering when & where the material was going to be posted.

FRAGCON Event Registration

Is there an ETA for the Event Registration. It would help to know when this will be posted. As it stands I am registered for the CON and I have to sign on the forums everyday to find out if events have been posted yet or not.

Perhaps the front page should say something like:

"Events will be avaialble for signup on April 15th" or whatever the target date is. Not complaining, just suggesting that some clear communication might help with managing expectations...

It will be back early next year. An unplanned content hiatus caused some delays!

Just curious on the status of the Prairie Gamer eZine. Have not seen any issues in awhile. I hope it is not a retired publication as I think you guys did a stellar job putting it together.

We are still "meeting", generally on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month. If you are interested, you can be added to the forums, and be notified of the next get-together.

Sure. I would like to come and check it out. Typically Wednesdays are booked for me, but I could sneak out for a meeting or two.

Prairie Gamer

I was thinking that you may want a section on the forums for the "Prairie Gamer". It has been an amazing publication for years and a place to comment on articles would be nice.

(1) Discuss articles from current issue.
(2) Discuss articles from previous issue(s).
(3) The forums could be a means to entice members to submit articles.

(4) Flesh out some ideas for submissions / columns.


I was quite impressed with two articles in particular for the current issue. I quite enjoyed the HeroScape write up and the write up on Stock car Championship Racing. Thanks to EVERYONE involved in the publication.

Board Game Geek

Over the last couple of years I have really explored many of the features of BoardGameGeek. It can be a daunting website to navigate if you are not used to the user interface. I thought I would post some of my shortcuts here and urge others to share as well.

Are there any settings that will show the latest postings? The latest topics show up at the bottom, but there is no summary info to see which topics have new posts without clicking each topic to check. That would be a very helpful addition to the forums.

Stockcar Championship Racing

I am getting an order ready to place directly with the game designer, Mike Garton.

If you would like to be part of this order, let me know soon. If you are not familiar with the game, it is the awesome show piece game that James S has run at a number of FRAG events. I played it once and now must have it to go in my collection of racing games. Big fun.
