2012 was a great year in gaming.  We hope that you had many opportunities to share this hobby with your friends and family, and the new friends that you made this year.  Cheers to 2013 and the gaming goodness ahead!

The Games Day Page has been updated with all the dates for the 2013 FRAG events.  Also, for those with a smartphone the FRAG Google Calendar has been updated.  This is a public calendar that can be added to many calendar apps on all varieties of smart phones.  If you would like your event added, drop a email with the event name, date and contact information to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You may have noticed that the forums are offline currently.  Recently there was a large influx in spam messages.  It appears that the captcha we have is out of date, or another vulnerability has been found in Joomla.  We are currently investigating the resolution for this.  One option that was considered previously was moving the FRAG forums to be a BGG Guild.  Your opinion is welcomed, if you have any thoughts or feedback on this option, please comment below.

In other website news, the Flatland Gamers facebook page has been created.  If you were friends with the This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it facebook account before, please Like or Subscribe to the new page.  Once we have a little momentum there, the previous account will be retired.  See you on facebook!

What: FRAG Annual General Meeting

When: July 28, 2012 at 12:30PM

Where: Northeast Community Centre, 160 Broad St., Regina, SK

The Annual General Meeting of the Flatlands Regional Association of Gamers, Inc. will be held on July 28, 2012 at 12:30PM at the Northeast Community Centre, 160 Broad St., Regina, SK (the afternoon of the June Games Day).  Sign in for the meeting will begin at noon.  Please arrive on time for the meeting; once the meeting has started no additional attendees will be allowed in.  Description of the responsibilities for all positions are posted on the website, and it is suggested that nominations are considered with a position in mind.  All accepted nominations will be required to participate in a open question and answer period with the members present.  Any Member in good standing (who is at least 18 years of age) may let their name stand for election.  All Members in good standing are eligible to vote.
