One of the things we try to do is to help people who aren't involved in the gaming world have a better understanding of what it is we're so passionate about.  Usually, when you mention 'gaming' to someone, they immediately think of Casino games.  As well, there have been some pretty outrageous misconceptions and misinformation publicised about role-playing in the past (Dungeons & Dragons in particular), so hopefully we can help dispel the bad mojo by telling folks exactly what it is we do, and why... then invite them along.
