The Flatland IV Miniatures
Painting Competition

Flatland Gamers are proud to continue what was a very popular event last year... The Flatland Fantasy Miniatures Painting Competition.  Members and non-members alike are invited to enter their painted miniatures to compete in a number of specific categories.  Each entry will cost $1 per piece or a flat $10 if entering 10 or more.  Prizes will be awarded for the 'best' in each category. 

***PLEASE NOTE -- Because of manufacturer prize support, ONLY Games Workshop/Citadel miniatures will be eligible for prizes in 2008.***

We want to provide you with an opportunity to have fun, display your work, and receive feedback from experienced painters.  This event is open to all registered attendees.

Those interested in having items placed in the Miniatures Area for display and judging should bring them to the Flea Market area:
     Friday, April 25           7:30-9:30pm
     Saturday, April 26      9:00-11:00am

Each miniature must be accompanied with a registration form, available here (note that the forms are 4 to a page).   If you are entering more than one miniature, you must fill out a separate entry form for each one.  There are multiple cateories in which you can compete... if you wish to enter a single figure into more than one category, please indicate your intentions on your entry form (it won't cost any extra).

To view the miniatures, the display will be open:
     Saturday, April 25       2:00pm-8:00pm
     Sunday, April 26         12:00noon-3:00pm

Depending on the number of entries, the miniatures will be displayed in a secure area in the Flea Market Room.

Judging will take place late Sunday afternoon and will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Sunday.

Miniatures may be reclaimed when the Flea Market area closes on Sunday afternoon.
